ASL Storytime with Kristina

Please join the creative and talented artist, writer and graphic designer Kristina Guévremont as she shares her wonderful ASL story-telling with us in this online activity. This story time will be suitable for families and children from infants to five years.

What is Speechreading?

Leslee Scott is the instructor of Let’s Talk classes, so drop by and she will provide information about the classes and speechreaching, to see if it might be a good fit for you. Hearing loss can be a barrier but with Let’s Talk, you are provided with the “tools” to remove those barriers. You will have the opportunity try out some of the exercises that are in the program.

Zoom webinar with audiologist Daniel Paccioretti who will be answering your questions on cerumen (ear wax) management. Dan has taught at the graduate level and conducted clinical research and currently works as a consultant and trainer for the Pacific Audiology Group, a continuing education service for hearing care professionals, and is involved in developing and delivering their cerumen management course.

Ted Talks About Tech

Join us for a live presentation with Ted Clegg from Assistive Listening Device Systems (ALDS). Ted will share with us the latest in communication devices including telephones, alerting systems, alarm clocks and sound maskers. He will also be available to take any of your questions about useful assistive technologies that can improve your day-to-day communication and awareness.
