Well Being Program Drop-In Counselling & Services

On Thursday, February 7th there will be a drop-in session held at IDHHC from 9:30 am to 12 pm. WBP staff Tiffany Cassner and Kristen Pranzl will be in Victoria. If you want to talk about grief or curious about the WBP services, please make an appointment first, so they can have time to see you.

Your Grief Journey – a Well Being Program Workshop

This special workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at IDHHC, #130-1555 McKenzie Avenue. Register Early as the workshop is limited to 10 people only. The workshop covers: Stages of grief; Symptoms of Grief; What we can do to support ourselves and others.

The workshop will be presented by Tiffany, a clinical counsellor who works at WBP. She is a certified grief counsellor.

Info Hubs

IDHHC will host monthly “Info Hubs” starting January 14, 2019. On the 2nd Monday of each month, we will feature staff & guest speakers on various Hearing Health related topics. Presentations will be held at the Victoria IDHHC offices, from 1:30 – 3pm, on the 2nd Monday of each month. ASL interpreters provided upon request.

British Columbia is having a referendum on what voting system we should use for provincial elections.

45 minute presentation about 2018 Referendum – explains what referendum is about, how to cast your vote and information on each voting system on the referendum ballot.

There will be 15 minutes for Questions and Answers

WAVLI Hosting Meeting in Victoria, November 17th

You are invited to a special meeting, hosted by WAVLI (Westcoast Association of Visual Language Interpreters) on Saturday, November 17th, from 12:30 – 3:30 in Victoria at the James Bay Branch of the public library at 385 Menzies Street.
