New Audiologist- Patrick McCann

IDHHC is pleased to welcome Patrick McCann to our Victoria office!

Patrick earned his master’s degree in audiology from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS in 2016.  Following graduation, he worked for two years as the regional audiologist for the Qikiqtaaluq (Baffin) region of Nunavut. Based in Iqaluit, he also had the opportunity to fly to hamlets across the region for travel clinics. Following his time in Nunavut, he moved to the opposite side of Canada’s north, serving as an audiologist for the Government of Yukon in Whitehorse for four years.

He enjoys meeting folks of all ages and backgrounds, learning about their experiences, and helping with their communication needs. He looks forward to meeting and serving the community at IDHHC. He has always enjoyed the landscapes of Vancouver Island and is excited to explore them further by bike, foot, and car from his base in Victoria. Aside from exploring, he enjoys playing sports, listening to music and podcasts, and reading in his spare time. He has also inherited a soft spot for British mysteries on the telly.
