We Get It! A Parents’ Conversation
Wednesday, February 9 @ 6:30 – 7:30PM
IDHHC invites you to join a conversation with two seasoned parents, Teresa Kazemir and Jen Gow. Teresa’s adult son is hard of hearing and uses bilateral bone-anchored hearing aids. Jen’s daughter is deaf, uses two cochlear implants to hear, and attends her local French immersion school. Both women are passionate about supporting other parents. Our conversations will focus on families with children in the elementary school years. How do you manage hearing differences in your family? How do you support your deaf or hard of hearing child’s access in family and community activities? We welcome you into a dialogue where we can learn from each other’s successes and challenges.
This will be online, over Zoom.
To register and for further information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Register by February 2 to secure your spot.
Captioning and ASL will be provided for all workshops unless otherwise stated.
