Services Available

Below are the services IDHHC will still be offering during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hearing Health Services
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IDHHC Hearing Health Services has suspended in-person elective and non-essential services, as per provincial regulatory college (CSHBC) recommendations. If you are experiencing an emergency or urgent hearing health matter, please contact our office. Audiologist availability will be limited to certain days. Emergency or urgent matters include:

  1. A sudden hearing loss requiring an immediate hearing evaluation
  2. Hearing aid malfunction resulting in an inability to communicate (for individuals with severe/profound hearing loss)

If you have questions or concerns regarding your hearing loss or your hearing aids that can be answered over the phone or Skype video, please contact us to schedule a telehealth appointment.

  • If your hearing aid is not functioning, please call our office, as the staff may be able to arrange a drop off and pick up at our office for a specific scheduled date and time to possibly have it repaired.
  • If you are looking to purchase any technical aids or assistive technology please send us an email (idhhc@idhhc.ca) or give us a call at 250.592.8144 and we will do our very best to make arrangements to get you what you need.
