Island Deaf and Hard of Hearing Centre (IDHHC), celebrating 25 years serving the geographic region of Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, is hiring for the position of:
Finance and Operations Officer
IDHHC is the only non-profit specialized social service agency on Vancouver Island serving the needs of Deaf and hard of hearing communities.

With a team of professionals who are devoted to what we do, we hope to find a passionate individual to join our team and lead this important service area within our organization. We are looking for an individual that can provide leadership and provide both operational and program support to the organization and is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports for IDHHC. S/he provides support to the Executive Director, Finance Committee and Treasurer through bookkeeping, payroll, banking and reporting services.

Under the direction of the Executive Director (ED), the Finance and Operations Officer maintains all necessary and appropriate records, files and processes to ensure the smooth and compliant financial operation of the organization, focusing on accuracy and transparency.
